Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation is seeking a Facility Technician II for our Vancouver office at 200 Granville St. This on-site role is five days a week, supporting relocation logistics, building maintenance, and space planning.

You will perform preventative maintenance, manage furniture inventory, and assist with administrative tasks aligned to our guidelines. The ideal candidate has a college diploma, 2+ years in a similar role, and proficiency with Office Suite.

Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient with Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience supervising development work is a plus.
• Demonstrates autonomy, initiative and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Relocation and accommodation requests support.
• Plan and organize rooms and spaces in the building per requests.
• Perform preventive follow-up of installations and repairs.
• Carry out administrative and task-related duties per guidelines.
• Make minor changes to workstation layouts and manage furniture inventory.
• Handle other related duties as required.

Salary range (but not limited to): 54,900 - 67,100

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 5%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role

We are looking for a Facility Technician II to join our growing team!

This is an on‑site position, five days per week, at our Vancouver office located at 200 Granville St.

What you will accomplish with us:

• Participate and provide support in relocation and accommodation requests.
• Participate in the relocation of personnel, assist in the planning and organization of rooms and spaces in the building according to the requests received.
• Carry out the preventive follow‑up of the installations and repairs necessary for the good functioning of the site.
• Performs various administrative and job‑related tasks in accordance with current guidelines.
• Make minor changes in the physical layout of workstations.
• Manage the furniture inventory of our warehouse.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

What you will bring:

• College diploma or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of commonly used software including Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
• Experience in supervising the execution of development work.
• Excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate autonomy, initiative and resourcefulness.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good team spirit.
• Can work under pressure and with short delivery times.
• Can work with manual labor.
• No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
