Job summary

Movati Athletic Inc. Edmonton is seeking a Facility Technician to maintain club facilities, equipment, and systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and quick repairs to ensure an inviting, healthy environment for members and staff.

Applicants should have HVAC/plumbing/electrical know-how, read blueprints, and communicate clearly. Competitive wages and benefits apply after introductory period.

Qualifications

• 3 years of continuous operation and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Systems and BAS.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• CPO certification and pool operations knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building assets promptly and safely, including preventive tasks.
• Conduct routine maintenance and annual building inspections.
• Troubleshoot operating/fitness system outages and prepare return-to-service plans.
• Obtain quotes and liaise with external contractors; verify completed work.
• Uphold Health and Safety practices to keep areas clean, safe, and sanitary.
