Kent Materials Branch is responsible for the production and supply of asphalt, aggregate, ready mix concrete and products together with the services of material handling, inspection, testing and materials research. Reporting to the branch manager, this position is responsible for a variety of clerical duties and will work for branch staff in support of the entire operation.
The main purpose of this position is to provide clerical support to the branch and to support and review the work of weighmasters. This administrative role has a major focus on operational support for the asphalt plant, aggregate facility, concrete plant, and rubble operation including ensuring complete and accurate billing and cost recovery, inventory adjustments and good receipts. This position oversees inventory management and high frequency transactions an active operations facility, and is responsible for time entry, invoicing and other clerical duties as required.
Perform activities and produce reports in SAP and Hansen modules related to material production, inventory, billing, procurement and time entry and payroll
Support, schedule, and review the work of weighmasters and perform back-up coverage as required
Filing documents using VanDocs
Provide front line reception and performs other duties as required in order to support branch staff
