Job summary

Trimac Transportation is seeking a Facility Supervisor to lead daily washrack operations, ensuring fleet cleanliness, readiness, and regulatory compliance. You will supervise maintenance personnel, coordinate repairs, and drive safety and cost-control initiatives across the facility.

You will report to the Facility Manager or Area Manager, overseeing payroll, training, and performance while maintaining a high standard of service readiness for all fleet assets and customer equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Operations or Safety preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial, maintenance, or cleaning operations.
• Supervisory or lead hand experience required.
• Knowledge of DOT/Transport Canada regulations and industry safety standards is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train washrack personnel.
• Ensure onboarding, coaching, and cross-training across functions.
• Monitor payroll and overtime for labor cost efficiency.
• Hire, train, supervise, and coach washrack staff including mechanics and technicians.
• Foster a safety-first culture through daily leadership and employee engagement.
