Purplefarm Genetics is one of Canada’s premier craft cannabis producers. Coming from the legacy market, Purplefarm Genetics currently operates a 12,000 sq ft facility out of Johnstown, Ontario and is expanding to Fredericton, New Brunswick to operate a 90,000 sq ft facility. 

Purplefarm Genetics is one of Canada’s premier craft cannabis producers, and with our expansion into Fredericton, NB, we are looking for a Facilities Manager. Reporting to the CEO, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and care of the building, grounds, and equipment of the facility. 

 Responsibilities: 

• Work with technicians to troubleshoot and perform all necessary repairs and care to the facility, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical and grounds care. 
• Responsible for emergency repairs. 
• Coordinating contractors for services such as installs, inspections, or repairs. 
• Comply with Worksafe NB regulations. 
• Comply with health, safety and environmental laws and regulations. 
• Responsible for all documentation of maintenance and installs, both scheduled and emergency related. 
• Other duties as required. 
  

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years experience in industrial/commercial maintenance 
• 5+ years experience in managing/supervising a team 
• HVAC experience is a requirement. 
• Red Seal Electrician considered an asset 
• 4th class power engineer designation would be considered a very strong asset. 
• Previous experience in manufacturing and/or cannabis industries an asset 
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills 
• Excellent interpersonal skills 
• Excellent organizational skills 
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast paced, quickly changing, team environment 
  

Position: 

• Overtime is required during peak times and to meet deadlines
