Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Facility Housekeeper to keep our Etobicoke, Ontario location clean and inviting. The role requires attention to detail, physical effort, and reliability to support exceptional service.

Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, mopping for storage areas and restrooms, disposing of trash, and managing cleaning supply inventory. Part-time position with competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities.

Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.
• Dispose of trash
• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed

Facility Housekeeper Minimum Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.

Pay Range is: $17.6 - $18.5 Hourly

Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need.
