Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other facility areas
• Dispose of trash and maintain clean waste disposal areas
• Perform lawn mowing, trimming, and general exterior grounds maintenance
• Complete recycling and dump runs as required
• Scan and inspect storage units for cleanliness, occupancy, and maintenance issues
• Maintain cleanliness of parking lots, driveways, and outdoor areas
• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed
• Assist with basic property upkeep and facility appearance
• Follow directions and complete additional duties as assigned by management
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as requested by your manager

Facility Housekeeper Minimum Qualifications:

• Organisational skills
• Willingness to learn

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs, assisted or unassisted.

Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need.
