U-Haul is hiring a Facility Housekeeper to keep storage units, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor areas clean and inviting. You will perform sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash disposal, and help with basic property upkeep.

The role includes following directions from management and taking on additional duties as needed. The position emphasizes organization, willingness to learn, and a proactive, self-starting attitude to maintain a safe, well-maintained facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other facility areas.
• Dispose of trash and maintain clean waste disposal areas.
• Perform lawn mowing, trimming, and general exterior grounds maintenance.
• Complete recycling and dump runs as required.
• Scan and inspect storage units for cleanliness, occupancy, and maintenance issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of parking lots, driveways, and outdoor areas.
• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed.
• Assist with basic property upkeep and facility appearance.
• Follow directions and complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs, assisted or unassisted.
