Job summary

A regional municipality in Ontario is seeking a Facilities Technologist to support the coordination of technical facility services. The successful candidate will manage maintenance projects and building security systems. This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $29.15 to $36.43.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field.
• Knowledge of technical codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement minor capital and maintenance projects.
• Provide contract coordination for technical services.
• Deliver professional customer service to all personnel.

Skills

Valid Ontario G driver's license

Knowledge of building systems

Computer expertise in Microsoft Office

Ability to read construction drawings
