Job summary
Intact Financial Corporation is hiring a software developer to design and deliver a product that enhances the online insurance setup and purchase experience. You’ll join a high-performance team in a hybrid work model, collaborating across disciplines to tackle complex problems and drive customer-focused solutions.
You will contribute through design, coding and security reviews, while engaging in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Software Engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 6 to 10 years of experience.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum and DevOps mindset.
- Passionate about building software products.
- Creative, curious and resourceful.
- Team player who can share and receive feedback.
- Excellent at explaining ideas to different stakeholders.
- Organized, proactive and a driver of change.
- Comfortable in a constantly evolving technological environment.

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

- Very good knowledge of Angular, Javascritpt, Css . ( 85% )
- Good knowledge of Java language. ( 15% )
- Web Dev: Angular – JAVA – Spring Boot + Spring Cloud - MongoDB / Oracle / SOAP
- Tools: Github – JIRA – Confluence – Teams - IntelliJ
- CI/CD: Jenkins – Veracode – SonarQube – Twistlock
- Hosting: Docker - Kubernetes – OpenShift – Elastic Search / Logstash / Kibana
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
