Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking a Project Manager to lead maintenance planning and scheduling for hospital facilities. The role focuses on asset planning, preventative maintenance, and overseeing projects through to handover during major redevelopments.

Based at Burnaby Hospital, you will review maintenance strategies, build out PM plans for new assets, and coordinate with Facilities Management & Operations to improve maintenance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering/related field or trades qualification.
• 7–9 years of related experience in asset/maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Equivalent education/training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Establish project team structure and lead contractors and staff to meet standards.
• Develop and manage project plans with stakeholders for construction projects.
• Manage project budgets and post-construction budget requirements.
• Review drawings and specs for integration with existing systems and processes.
• Negotiate claims for extra costs with contractors.
• Coordinate system shutdowns affecting campus operations.
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafe BC and local regulations.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and sponsors.
