Job summary

Keyano College’s Facilities and Asset Management department seeks a Supervisor, Operations and Planning to lead maintenance planning, capital renewal, service contracts, and compliance. The role reports to the Director and bridges management with operational resources on campus in Fort McMurray, AB.

This on-site position requires coordinating priorities, monitoring progress, preparing reports, and supporting budget planning, while guiding the Administrative Coordinator and ensuring College

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of facilities operations and maintenance planning experience.
• Experience coordinating facilities operations, contractors, budgets, procurement, and reporting.
• Experience supervising employees and providing leadership.
• Strong organizational, analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facilities, financial, administrative, or project management systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain short, medium, and long-term operational and maintenance priorities.
• Review maintenance requirements, service levels, and infrastructure issues.
• Plan and monitor preventative maintenance, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies across operations and facilities.
• Support Capital Maintenance Renewal and renewal initiatives.
• Develop scopes, schedules, estimates, and procurement plans for initiatives.
• Monitor progress and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Oversee service contracts, renewals, performance, and resource needs.
• Support budget planning, forecasting, and financial reviews.
