Starlim North America Corporation in London, Ontario is seeking a Manager, Facilities Management to lead the safe, reliable operation of our 24/7 manufacturing facilities. You will supervise Facility Cleaning and Facility Technical teams, and provide hands-on technical leadership with a strong electrical background.

Qualifications

• College diploma or University degree – facilities operation/maintenance
• Licensed Electrician (442A or 309A) in good standing
• Minimum 5 years of experience with industrial electrical and hands-on facility operations or maintenance
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated leadership
• Experience with main switch gear servicing, generator systems used with life safety an asset
• ISO 7/8 - GMP C/D cleanroom experience an asset
• BAS experience an asset
• SCADA experience an asset
• Oriented to a manufacturing organization

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify building and equipment for needed repair and maintenance; develop preventive and predictive maintenance program
• Maintain preventive maintenance program for inspections, service schedules, asset registers, drawings, manuals and warranties
• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate facility projects with scopes, budgets and risk assessments
• Oversee facility systems including electrical, lighting, HVAC, water, drainage and roofing
• Provide electrical troubleshooting to diagnose faults and coordinate repairs
• Schedule and perform installation, maintenance and repair of machinery and electrical systems
• Ensure operation of machinery by performing preventive maintenance on motors and production machines
• Monitor utilities consumption and identify energy-saving opportunities
• Maintain inventories of equipment and spare parts; place orders as needed
• Oversee external service providers and contractors for specialized work
• Maintain and improve building monitoring systems (SCADA/BAS)
• Plan and deliver capital and maintenance projects to support production continuity
• Develop and manage facilities operating budgets
• Source contractors and manage procurement process
• Oversee fleet vehicle maintenance and related regulatory requirements
• Ensure EMS aligns with ISO standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare reports and support EH&S initiatives
