CivicInfo BC is seeking a Facility Maintenance Supervisor in Victoria to lead maintenance staff and ensure clean, safe, and reliable facilities for a 24/7 operation. The role includes scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating repairs to ice arenas, pools, and related spaces.

The ideal candidate will have post-secondary training in building maintenance and 4+ years of supervisory experience, with BC Refrigeration Operators and Pool Operator certificates being strongly preferred.

Formación

• Two years post-secondary in building maintenance or related field; four years related experience.
• Experience supervising unionized staff with training and performance management.
• Credentials in refrigeration, pool operation and power engineering are preferred.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing training and support crew development.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise maintenance staff and cleaners for 24/7 operations.
• Schedule work, monitor safety, and manage budgets with the Manager of Operations.
• Inspect facilities and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure building systems and equipment meet safety standards and codes.
• Maintain records, reports, and daily logs; liaise with groups and agencies.
