Having completed our pivotal clinical study, we are now focusing on regulatory approvals and launching our product. This is a significant milestone in our journey to bring this innovative technology to patients.

Role Overview

The Facilities Engineer oversees plant and facilities operations, supporting renovations, upgrades, retrofits, and repairs.

This position is hybrid, based in Burnaby, BC.

Your Responsibilities

1. Managing projects related to infrastructure installation, maintenance, and repair (humidification systems, compressors, generators).
2. Establishing and optimizing preventative and predictive maintenance for facility systems (HVAC, chillers, etc.).
3. Developing improvements for building and process layouts, energy, and operational savings.
4. Planning for facility and utility enhancements considering lifespan and future needs.
5. Developing P&ID diagrams for systems like CHW, LPHW, HVAC, and compressed air.
6. Executing projects individually or as part of a team, managing multiple tasks concurrently.
7. Managing documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and certification reports.
8. Coordinating contractor management.

Qualifications

• BSc in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field with 3+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management principles.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and coordinating trades and contractors.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of environmental, fire, health, safety, building, plumbing, and electrical codes.
• Preventative maintenance experience and knowledge of building management systems.
• Ability to respond effectively to critical situations.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $84,000 – $100,000 CAD annually, with stock options. Benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage from day one, work flexibility, career development support, family leave top-ups, and inclusive culture.
