Job summary

Líl̓wat Nation in Mount Currie, BC is seeking a Custodian to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the Ullus building. The role involves daily cleaning, disinfection, and upkeep of all interior areas, including kitchens and washrooms.

You will operate cleaning equipment, maintain stocks of supplies, and support facility safety protocols under supervision. The position is casual/temporary with pay grid $22.86–$30.00 per hour, reporting to the Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and disinfection of floors, windows, fixtures, and washrooms.
• Secure facility when not in use.
• Clean and maintain offices, gym, daycare, and washrooms with various equipment.
• Operate cleaning machines such as buffers and vacuums.
• Report maintenance or supply needs to the Reporting Manager.
