Job summary

Skyservice in Dorval, QC seeks a Facilities Attendant to support building operations and provide a safe environment for employees, guests, flight crews, tenants, and visitors.

You will assist with records, cleaning, event setup, and routine maintenance while coordinating with the facilities team to uphold standards across all areas including hallways, rest rooms, and parking. Flexibility and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Experience with events, cleaning, or property management is an asset.
• Must have a valid Quebec driver’s license.
• Familiar with hand and power tools – operations and safety.
• Police background check and airport ID card required.
• Experience with CAD or facility software is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Must be safety- and customer-service oriented; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist facilities team with building operations and security.
• Maintain records and support the facilities service desk.
• Respond to inquiries and support routine duties.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of rooms, halls, lounges, and rest areas.
• Assist in setup/takedown of events; escort contractors as needed.
• Conduct facility walkthroughs and note repairs; weather-related tasks.
• Lifting and moving items; adapt to 24/7/365 coverage as required.

# Facilities AttendantSkyserviceDorval, Quebec9 days agoJob descriptionSUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: :• Assists facilities team with the overall building operation and providing a safe and secure environment for employees, guests, customers, flight crews, tenants, and visitors.• Keep records inventory, and ongoing management of records to ensure current and relevant files are always available.• Ensure requests are completed in alignment with the Facilities Service Desk tool.• Respond to inquiries from facility tenants, users, and staff and provide facility information.• Support the team as they perform their routine duties.• Support the team in ensuring that standards are upheld when it comes to clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, parking lots, etc.• Performs general cleaning duties as required and in support of contracted janitorial. Includes but is not limited to weed pulling, FOD/garbage collection, clearing entrances, and pathways of snow/ice during inclement weather.• Move and/or assist office moves including larger pieces of furniture to and from storage.• Assist in the set-up and take-down of company and third-party events on-site.• Regular facility walkthroughs noting/actioning repairs and maintenance are required .• Sign in/out and escort contractors as per Skyservice Security policies.• Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:• A High School Diploma or equivalency is required.• Previous experience with events, cleaning, or property management would be an asset• Must have a valid Quebec driver’s license.• Familiar with hand and power tools – operations and safety• Must pass a Police Background Check and secure a local airport Restricted Area Identification Card.• Experience with CAD or other design, facility software, and Microsoft Paint, is an asset.• Strong attention to detail.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Must be safety and customer service-oriented while possessing a security-focused mindset.• Excellent time management and organizational skills.• Possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.• Ability to set priorities, understand and follow directions with minimal supervision.
