Hourly Rate: Starting at $25.25/hour

Reports to: Saif Ghanim, Room Manager

Location: Etobicoke, ON

The Role: Fabrication Technician

Reporting to the Room Manager, the Fabrication Technician is responsible for setting up, calibrating, cleaning, operating, and performing minor preventative maintenance on various fabrication machinery. You will be trained on the equipment and tools, bringing your knowledge and experience in machine operation. As a Fabrication Technician, you will embody Lush’s Leadership Practices: Be Real, Be Curious, Lead Fearlessly, Adapt and Evolve, Grow Talent, and Live with Purpose.

Responsibilities
  1. Production: Operate 3D printers, vacuum formers, and other fabrication equipment to produce moulds; assemble, trim, and finish moulds; conduct inspections; troubleshoot issues; use power tools; mark reference points.
  2. Equipment: Set up, operate, calibrate, clean, maintain, and repair equipment; report malfunctions.
  3. Quality: Follow safety procedures; conduct quality checks; document data and complete reports.
  4. Collaboration: Participate in process improvements; collaborate with team; support training.
  5. Safety: Follow safety protocols; maintain a clean workspace; report hazards.
  6. Logistics: Prepare and package finished moulds.
Qualifications

Required: Knowledge of 3D printing or mould fabrication; technical skills; attention to detail; computer literacy; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred: Manufacturing or fabrication experience; knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out; machine process familiarity; trade or operator experience; technical certification; PLC controls knowledge.
