Job summary

Flint-Corp. in Canada seeks a Shop Foreman to lead the fabrication shop, ensuring safe, efficient production of components while meeting quality standards and budgets.

You will supervise and mentor shop personnel, coordinate workflow, resources, and equipment utilization, and collaborate with clients and internal teams. Ideal candidates have strong leadership, excellent organization, and solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations; a Journeyperson Machinist or Welder

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and the ability to communicate across all levels.
• Highly organized and self-motivated with strong documentation skills and deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations with a commitment to compliance.
• Journeyperson Machinist and/or Welder certification is a strong asset; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall shop operations ensuring safe, efficient production and quality.
• Implement and manage HSE programs, conduct safety meetings, promote safety culture.
• Oversee workforce management, including training, staffing, performance management, and development.
• Manage production, inventory, procurement, and resources to meet budgets and deadlines.
• Support client engagement, quote preparation, and process improvements.
