Park Hyatt Toronto is seeking a friendly and professional F&B Outlets Greeter to welcome guests with warmth and personalized attention. You will be the first touchpoint for a luxurious, Forbes 5‑Star experience, greeting guests by name and guiding them to seating while sharing menu highlights and specials.

The role requires a polished, service‑minded individual with luxury brand experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand and move for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work variable shifts.
• Experience in a world‑class luxury brand or fine dining environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with guests and team members are essential.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and acknowledge guests as they arrive, using their name when possible.
• Provide information about menus, promotions, and offerings with enthusiasm.
• Anticipate guest needs and assist with seating preferences and directions.
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Assist with answering phones and scheduling reservations or follow‑ups.
• Keep entrance and host stand tidy, organized, and inviting.
• Communicate guest concerns promptly to the manager or security.
• Uphold Forbes 5‑Star standards in all interactions, including greetings and closing remarks.

About the Role – F&B Outlets Greeter

Hourly Rate: $24.40

As a Greeter , you will be the first point of contact for our guests—setting the tone for a welcoming, luxurious, and personalized experience. This role is essential in delivering Forbes 5-Star service , where attention to detail, warm and genuine interactions, and intuitive service are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome and acknowledge guests as they arrive, using their name whenever possible
• Provide information about menus, promotions, and special offerings with genuine enthusiasm
• Anticipate guest needs and offer thoughtful assistance with directions or seating preferences
• Maintain a polished and professional demeanor at all times, with attention to grooming and body language
• Assist with answering phones and scheduling reservations or follow‑up appointments
• Keep the entrance and host stand area tidy, organized, and inviting
• Communicate any guest concerns or issues promptly to the appropriate manager or security
• Uphold and incorporate Forbes 5-Star standards in all interactions, including:
  • Personalized greetings
  • Use of the guest’s name
  • Professional tone and language
  • Gracious closing remarks
  • Genuine interest in guest comfort and satisfaction

Qualifications

• Service focused personality is essential
• Previous fine dining or luxury level service knowledge and training.
• Minimum 2 year previous work experience in a world-class luxury brand in a similar capacity.
• Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality driven
• Excellent communication skills
• Constant walking & standing
