Job summary

Park Hyatt Toronto is seeking a friendly and professional F&B Outlets Greeter. You will warmly welcome guests, share menu details, and guide seating with a focus on exceptional service in a luxury setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with reservations, maintaining a pristine entrance area, and upholding Forbes 5-Star standards in every interaction. A minimum of 2 years in a luxury brand environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Service focused personality essential.
• Experience in world-class luxury brand service is required.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar luxury role.
• Flexible schedule and highly motivated; quality driven.
• Excellent communication skills expected.
• Constant walking and standing will be required.

• Warmly welcome and acknowledge guests, using their name when possible.
• Provide information about menus, promotions, and offerings with enthusiasm.
• Anticipate guest needs and assist with directions or seating preferences.
• Maintain a polished, professional demeanor with strong grooming.
• Assist with answering phones and scheduling reservations or follow-ups.
• Keep entrance and host area tidy, organized, and inviting.
• Escalate guest concerns to the appropriate manager or security.
• Incorporate Forbes 5-Star standards in interactions: personalized greetings, use of guest name, professional tone, gracious closing remarks.

About the Role – F&B Outlets Greeter

Hourly Rate: $24.40

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome and acknowledge guests as they arrive, using their name whenever possible
• Provide information about menus, promotions, and special offerings with genuine enthusiasm
• Anticipate guest needs and offer thoughtful assistance with directions or seating preferences
• Maintain a polished and professional demeanor at all times, with attention to grooming and body language
• Assist with answering phones and scheduling reservations or follow-up appointments
• Keep the entrance and host stand area tidy, organized, and inviting
• Communicate any guest concerns or issues promptly to the appropriate manager or security
• Uphold and incorporate Forbes 5-Star standards in all interactions, including:
  • Personalized greetings
  • Use of the guest’s name
  • Professional tone and language
  • Gracious closing remarks

Qualifications

• Service focused personality is essential
• Previous fine dining or luxury level service knowledge and training.
• Minimum 2 year previous work experience in a world-class luxury brand in a similar capacity.
• Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality driven
