Job summary

Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. is seeking a full-time operator to set up and run production processes, including CNC or manual equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, ensure quality, and record data in production systems. You may train others and assist in various departments as needed.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment.
• Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for quality
• Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
• Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems.
• Required to train other operators as needed.
• May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.
