Yellowknives Dene First Nation (YKDFN) seeks a Shuttle Driver to provide timely and safe transportation for Dettah residents and offices, and to support the Public Works & Infrastructure program.
You will perform daily vehicle checks, manage fuel and supplies, and ensure safety protocols are followed. The role involves responsibilities across vehicle maintenance and incident reporting, as assigned by the A/Director, Public Works & Infrastructure.

The Shuttle Drivers’ are part of the YKDFN Public Works and Infrastructure team and work’s closely to ensure timely and safe transportation to Dettah residences, offices and residence on the Dettah access road. This position is located in Dettah.
Under the authority of the YKDFN Government Chiefs and Council and under the direct supervision of the A/Director, Public Works & Infrastructure, the Shuttle Driver’s main responsibility are to ensure timely and safe transportation for Dettah residences, offices and Dettah access roads are met. In addition, the incumbent’s responsibility are to maintain the shuttle bus in good operating condition and to follow all required safety procedures.
