PAL Airlines is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our flight line maintenance team in Canada. This role supports checks, repairs and troubleshooting across our Dash 8 fleet at our Sept-Îles and other bases.

The candidate must be TC‑approved or hold equivalent certification and be flexible to shifts. Experience on Dash 8 aircraft is highly valued, with opportunities for growth within PAL Technical Services and PAL Group of Companies.

Competenze

• Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course or equivalent.
• Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400 experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong safety mindset.

Mansioni

• Perform flight line maintenance checks and repairs between flights and overnights.
• Carry out A-checks, engine changes and propeller replacements.
• Collaborate with PAL team to ensure safety and compliance.

Our Operations:

PAL Airlines is proud to be an Air Canada Express carrier, partnering with Air Canada to support and strengthen regional air service across Eastern Canada. Since our first Air Canada Express flight in 2023, our partnership has continued to grow, expanding our fleet and our role in connecting communities throughout Eastern Canada. Our Flight Line Maintenance involves all maintenance checks and repairs carried out in the flight line, i.e. between flights or overnights. The work done by our Flight Line team includes layover checks up to A‑checks, expert troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacements.

• Our team currently maintains DHC-8 aircrafts

We are currently looking for in the following areas:

• Sept-Iles, QC
• Wabush, NL

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as ICSh;
• Preferred: M2, or E license or equivalent rating.
• Experience in flight line operations would be considered an asset;
  • Experience on the following aircraft is preferred:
  • Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
• Troubleshooting skills;
• Must possess strong interpersonal, decision‑making, organization and communication skills; and
• Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
• Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
