Job summary

PAL Group of Companies is seeking ACA Dash 8 endorsed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (M2 licensed) to join the Kitchener, ON flight line operations. This full-time role involves maintenance checks, troubleshooting, engine changes and propeller replacements between flights.

The ideal candidate has Transport Canada approved AME training or equivalent, experience on Dash 8-100/200/300, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Required: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or equivalent
  • Preferred: M2 or equivalent rating
  • Experience in flight line operations would be an asset
  • Experience on Dash 8-100/200/300
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Strong interpersonal, decision‑making, organization and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations
  • Flexibility to work all shifts as needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform flight line maintenance checks and repairs between flights

We are currently seeking ACA Dash 8 endorsed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (M2 Licensed) to join our growing crew of dedicated aviation professionals supporting our maintenance operations in Kitchener, ON.

Our Operations:

Our Flight Line Maintenance involves all maintenance checks and repairs carried out in the flight line, i.e. between flights or overnights. The work done by our Flight Line team includes layover checks up to A-checks, expert troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacements.

  • Our team currently maintains DHC-8-100 aircrafts
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Required: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as IC S;
    • Preferred: M2 or equivalent rating.
  • Experience in flight line operations would be considered an asset;
    • Experience on the following aircraft is required:
    • Dash 8-100/200/300
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, decision‑making, organization and communication skills; and
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
