Job summary

PAL Technical Services is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our flight-line team in Sept-Îles, QC. You will maintain Dash 8 family aircraft to Transport Canada standards, troubleshoot issues, and support on-wing checks.

Candidates with a TC-approved AME training or equivalent IC program, and a valid M2/E license are encouraged to apply. We offer competitive pay, night-shift premium, tool allowance, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or equivalent (IC).
• Preferred: M2 or E license or equivalent rating.
• Experience in flight line operations is an asset.
• Experience on Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400 is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong interpersonal, decision-making and communication skills.

• Maintain aircraft to high standards and ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair in-flight line issues.

Our Flight Line Maintenance involves all maintenance checks and repairs carried out in the flight line, i.e. between flights or overnights. The work done by our Flight Line team includes layover checks up to A-checks, expert troubleshooting, engine changes, and propeller replacements.

• Sept-Iles, QC
• Wabush, NL

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as IC;
  • Preferred: M2, or E license or equivalent rating.
• Experience in flight line operations would be considered an asset;
  • Experience on the following aircraft is preferred:
  • Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
• Troubleshooting skills;
• Must possess strong interpersonal, decision‑making, organization and communication skills; and
• Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
• Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
