YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

As a member of the Exploration team, you will lead geological teams to develop and execute exploration programs as mandated by the EVP & VP Exploration, ensuring strategic alignment with corporate strategies and objectives. Your focus will be on acquiring and developing high-quality exploration opportunities to support the company's pipeline.

You will also support AEM’s social license to operate by establishing collaborative relationships with local communities and act as a Health & Safety ambassador.

  • Design and execute exploration programs and monitor progress
  • Optimize regional activities through communication and guidance to regional teams
  • Develop and maintain industry relationships
  • Implement best practices and coordinate work programs
  • Prepare exploration proposals and budgets
  • Manage exploration budgets and reporting
  • Act as an ambassador for social license to operate
  • Collaborate on Health & Safety processes
  • Ensure safe work practices and emergency preparedness
  • Provide development opportunities for the team
  • Collaborate with departments and manage partners
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Update communities on exploration activities
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 20+ years of field experience with senior leadership roles
  • University Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
  • Understanding of gold deposits and exploration tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical-thinking and data evaluation skills
  • Interpersonal skills for teamwork
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Business acumen in mining
Your Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential teleworking and site visits.
