YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

As a member of the Exploration team, you will lead geological teams to develop and execute exploration programs aligned with the EVP & VP Exploration and corporate strategies. Your focus will be on acquiring and developing high-quality exploration opportunities to enhance our property pipeline.

You will also support AEM’s social license to operate by building relationships with local communities and act as a Health & Safety ambassador.

• Design and execute exploration programs, monitor progress
• Optimize regional activities, develop communication with regional teams, provide guidance and training
• Develop industry relationships and knowledge
• Implement best practices, coordinate work programs
• Prepare and present exploration proposals and budgets
• Manage exploration budgets and reporting activities
• Act as an ambassador for our social license
• Collaborate on Health & Safety processes
• Ensure safe work practices and emergency preparedness
• Provide team development opportunities
• Coordinate with departments and manage partners
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Update communities on exploration activities

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• 20+ years of field experience, including senior leadership roles
• University Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
• Strong understanding of gold deposits and exploration methods
• Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders
• Critical thinking and data evaluation skills
• Interpersonal skills for team collaboration
• Problem-solving skills for complex data analysis
• Business acumen in mining industry

Your Work Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with teleworking options. Regular site visits required.
