YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Exploration Advisor, you will support the 3D modelling needs of the Hope Bay Exploration Team by interpreting geological data of the Hope Bay Greenstone belt. Your main task will be to build 3D models based on lithological, structural, and mineralization data.

As a key team member, you should demonstrate curiosity, autonomy, excellent organizational and communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a desire to work in diverse geological environments. You must be capable of integrating various data sources to interpret and build models. You will serve as a reference for data availability and quality, geological understanding, and collaborate with departments, effectively communicating your observations and interpretations.

• Ensure 3D modelling for assigned mandates
• Provide quality geological interpretation aligned with industry best practices
• Deliver high-quality models within deadlines
• Generate geological interpretations and models through data compilation
• Assist in planning exploration programs and target generation
• Improve geological models and mineralization controls
• Support training and mentoring within the Hope Bay Exploration team
• Contribute to the overall geological knowledge of the property
• Communicate effectively with various expert groups within Agnico Eagle
• Provide geological information to other technical disciplines and support their queries

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

· Bachelor's degree in geology or geological engineering

· Minimum of 5 years of geology experience, including 2 years in modelling

· Membership in good standing with a professional association (Geologists or Engineers)

· Knowledge of Leapfrog Geo, Leapfrog Edge, Datamine Studio RM, and Snowden Supervisor is an asset

· Ability to work independently and in a team; meet deadlines and produce quality work

· Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, engaging diverse groups

· Experience in multicultural environments and in the Canadian Arctic is an asset

· Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Your Work Schedule:

• Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days off; flights departing from Edmonton, Alberta, or Yellowknife, NWT.
• Accommodation and meals are provided on-site at no cost. Transportation to and from Hope Bay is provided, and travel expenses are covered based on your residence in Canada.
