Job summary

The Mel Jr. & Marty Zajac Foundation seeks Outdoor Education Facilitators for Zajac Ranch in Mission, BC.

You will deliver experiential, participant-focused programming for school groups and rental events, while upholding risk-management policies and supporting site operations. You will be trained across activity areas such as ropes courses, waterfront, archery, and land-based programming, with responsibilities that include kitchen duties, maintenance, and ensuring a welcoming experience for all

Qualifications

• Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification required.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within six months of start date.
• Two satisfactory professional reference checks required.
• ACCT Level 1 or 2 certification and lifeguard certification are assets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging, participant-focused programming.
• Interact with children and promote inclusive participation.
• Provide welcoming, professional customer service to schools, rentals, retreats, and events.
• Explain and reinforce camp rules and safety requirements.
• Assist with kitchen duties, facility maintenance, and site upkeep as needed.
