The Centre for Community Engaged Learning (CCEL) within the University of British Columbia invites applications for a Learning Initiatives Coordinator. You will develop and coordinate undergraduate research, CEL programs, and experiential education opportunities for students, including conferences and campus partnerships.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of one to two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to respect diverse perspectives and equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and delivering programs or events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate broadly accessible undergraduate research and experiential education programs for students.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of program initiatives and supervise student staff.
• Advise students and match participants to projects aligned with interests and goals.
• Develop orientations, workshops, and resources to support student participation.
• Maintain up-to-date website content and administrative systems; monitor budgets and reporting.
