Responsibilities

• Work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional evenings and weekends.

We are looking for an experienced, mechanically inclined Shop Hand who is comfortable taking on a wide variety of tasks. This is a jack‑of‑all‑trades position suited to someone who is confident around vehicles, trailers, equipment, and general shop work. This position is a Monday to Friday schedule with the occasional evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate must be dependable, safety-minded, physically capable, and able to recognize what needs to be done and take initiative.

Candidates must have at least three years of relevant hands‑on experience involving:

• Connecting, towing, and maneuvering trailers, including gooseneck and trailers up to 40 feet

• Operating skid steers and forklifts confidently - not simply at a basic competency level

• Performing basic vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanically inclined work

• Completing general repairs, maintenance, and miscellaneous hands‑on shop tasks

• Loading, unloading, moving, and organizing equipment and materials

• Performing physically demanding work, including regularly lifting and carrying 50–75 lbs.

Applicants must have all of the following to be considered:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Reliable personal vehicle

• Valid forklift certification

• Minimum three years of relevant experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work

Preferred Qualifications

The following experience and certifications are considered assets but are not required:

• Skid steer certification

• Welding experience

• Experience inspecting, servicing, or handling fire extinguishers
