Job summary

Seafood City Supermarket in Winnipeg is hiring six experienced Fish Cleaners. You will trim, debone and portion fish for display, assist with special Filipino dishes, and maintain clean, safe work areas in a 40-hour week with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications include secondary education and at least 3 years cleaning fish in a retail setting, plus ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in cold environments. Wage is $17.00/hour with overtime pay.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school.
• At least three years experience cleaning and handling fish in retail.
• Experience preparing specialty Filipino cuts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fish/seafood for display and sale.
• Clean, cut, debone, fillet large fish and seafood.
• Arrange items in displays and restock as needed.
• Assist with seafood deliveries and stock in coolers.
