Job summary

IPG in Truro, NS is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Operator to support extrusion and related equipment. You may begin in the Tape Line or Coating Department, learning to operate extrusion and converting machinery alongside seasoned Operators.

Through a structured training program you can progress to a Production Operator within about 12 months. The role offers 12-hour shifts, weekly pay, and competitive starting wages of $24.00–$26.00 per hour, plus benefits and a safety-focused,

Role Overview

We're seeking individuals with experience operating or assisting with extrusion equipment, plastics processing equipment, converting equipment, or similar manufacturing machinery.

As an Experienced Manufacturing Operator, you'll begin your career in either our Tape Line or Coating Department, working alongside experienced Operators while learning the technical skills required to operate extrusion and converting equipment independently.

Through a structured training program, successful candidates will develop the knowledge and skills needed to progress into a Production Operator role within approximately 12 months.

• 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights), including weekends
• 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM
