Our WSP Contaminated Sites team in Calgary is expanding, and we are adding a Project Manager to serve a variety of industrial and government clients in Northern Alberta, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. You will collaborate with an Edmonton-based team of experienced professionals including hydrogeologists, engineers, geochemists, and technical staff.

Responsibilities include :

  • Collaborating in a team environment with project coordinators, managers, technical leads, and field staff.
  • Preparing health and safety and emergency response plans.
  • Developing proposals, estimating costs, scheduling, and compiling reports with conclusions and recommendations.
  • Managing project accounting and reporting requirements under WSP’s agreements.
  • Training junior staff in environmental practices and safety protocols.
  • Engaging with clients to ensure project needs are met and progress is maintained.
  • Supporting the contaminated sites management group in health, safety, project management, and client service.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Biology, or related field.
  • Over 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize large data sets.
  • Experience with budgets, Excel, and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Experience in business operations is advantageous.
