Job summary

Cobalt Construction seeks an experienced Dozer/Excavator Operator for full-time seasonal work in Yukon. Operate machines on road construction, earthworks and civil projects, with a focus on grading, drainage, and site prep. Camp-based position with meals and accommodations provided.

Safety-conscious, dependable, and able to read grades and drawings; GPS machine control experience is a plus. Valid driver's license and ability to work remotely are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating both dozers and excavators.
• Experience in road construction, earthworks, mining, or heavy civil construction.
• Experience with grading, excavation, drainage, road building, and site preparation.
• Ability to read grade stakes, construction drawings, and site plans.
• GPS machine control experience (Trimble, Topcon, Leica, or equivalent) is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous remote or northern work experience is an asset.
