Job description

This general practice dental office located in Delta is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. The CDA will work alongside a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment, where excellent communication and organizational skills are key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during various clinical procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and other general dentistry treatments.
  • Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment for procedures.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure patient comfort throughout all treatments.
  • Manage patient records, ensuring all details are accurately documented.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and sterilization protocols.
  • Deliver excellent patient care, providing clear instructions and answering any questions patients may have.

Compensation:

  • $30 - $35 per hour (Based on experience and Tracker software proficiency)

Schedule:

  • Monday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements:

  • Registered as a Certified Dental Assistant with the BCCOHP
