Job summary

St. Louis Bar & Grill in Sault Ste. Marie is hiring an Expeditor (Expo) to join our kitchen-to-service team.

You will ensure dishes leave the kitchen accurately and promptly, acting as the bridge between front and back of house while maintaining an organized work area and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a positive, energetic personality, a passion for hospitality, and at least 1 year of experience in a similar setting.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date Smart Serve certification.

Responsibilities

• Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

What You Do

As an expo at St. Louis, you are a key link within the restaurant. At St. Louis Bar & Grill, we are always aiming to exceed expectations through extraordinary hospitality, which means making sure that no dish leaves the kitchen without immaculate plating, with all the correct ingredients and garnishes, and that every special request is adhered to with an expert eye. You will act as a liaison between BOH and FOH, ensuring that guests receive their food promptly, and correctly. At the same time, as an expo, you will assist other areas of the restaurant, displaying exceptional teamwork and care for our guests.
