Placements24 is seeking an Exhibition Designer for a prestigious cultural institution in Kimberley. The role focuses on translating curatorial visions into immersive exhibition spaces that educate and engage visitors, from concept through installation, in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team.

You will design layouts, plan multimedia integrations, and ensure accessibility, safety, and budget compliance while collaborating with curators, fabricators, and AV specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exhibition Design, Interior Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience in exhibition design with museum/gallery projects.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit; graphic design skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design concepts for museum and gallery exhibitions aligned with curatorial goals and visitor engagement strategies.
• Create detailed design plans including floor layouts, spatial arrangements, graphic elements, and multimedia integration.
