Job Overview

Position supporting satellite sites across the CELHIN, requiring travel. Reports to the Manager, Regional Cardiovascular Rehab. Works closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team. Responsible for case management, developing individualized exercise and wellness programs, risk assessment, supervision, monitoring, counselling, and support.

Minimum Requirements

• B.Sc. in Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Physical Education, or related field
• Current BCLS certification
• At least 1 year relevant experience in cardiovascular rehab
• Knowledge of cardiac and exercise physiology, ECG interpretation, cardiac medications, behaviour modification
• Experience in exercise training, prescription, and care plan development for cardiac patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer focus, confidentiality
• Competency in adult education and presentation skills
• Ability to problem-solve independently with sound judgment
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Understanding of Lean principles and safety programs
• Commitment to diversity, safety, and ethical conduct
• Good attendance and work performance

Preferred Assets

• American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Specialist Certification
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, MEDITECH, Cardiologica
• Membership with CACR and CRNO
• Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin) with CKO
