Job Overview

The position supports satellite sites across the CELHIN, requiring travel. Reporting to the Manager, Regional Cardiovascular Rehab, the role involves working with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to manage outpatient care, develop individualized exercise programs, assess risks, supervise patients, and provide counseling and support.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Physical Education, or related health field
• Current BCLS certification
• At least 1 year relevant experience in cardiovascular rehab
• Knowledge of cardiac and exercise physiology, ECG interpretation, cardiac medications, and behavior modification principles
• Experience in exercise training, prescription, and care plan development, preferably with cardiac patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer focus, confidentiality respect
• Competency in adult education and presentation skills
• Ability to problem-solve independently with sound judgment
• Effective teamwork skills
• Understanding of Lean principles and safety practices
• Commitment to diversity, safety, and ethical conduct
