Job summary

GSK is seeking a Clinical Development Lead (CDL) – Oncology GU to shape the clinical strategy and scientific narrative for GU assets. You will partner with the Medicine Development Team to direct strategy, governance, and portfolio investments across the asset lifecycle.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional leadership, and advanced analytics to accelerate development, with hybrid working arrangements and on-site collaboration two days per week.

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced degree required.
• Minimum 10 years in pharmaceutical or clinical development with oncology focus.
• GU malignancies knowledge preferred (prostate and/or bladder).
• Experience leading asset-, portfolio-, or enterprise-level initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, FDA, EMA, NICE.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in matrix environments.
• Experience using data and analytics to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the asset's clinical strategy and scientific narrative.
• Lead or co-lead governance and investment discussions for portfolio prioritisation.
• Serve as senior clinical strategy leader on MDT core quad.
• Drive integrated, end-in-mind development planning across asset lifecycle.
