Job Description

An exciting Permanent Full-Time opportunity as an Executive Director exists in the Women’s College Academic Family Health Team (WCAFHT), reporting to the Clinical Director, Clinical Resources and Performance, and Physician Lead for the WCAFHT. This position will also provide management and operational oversight to the Women’s College Hospital Family Practice Health Centre (FPHC), Environmental Health, and Family Practice.

It is the Women’s College Academic Family Health Team (WCAFHT) vision to provide primary health care services of the highest quality, delivered in an innovative, academic, and interdisciplinary environment.

Position Overview

The Executive Director will be responsible for the management and operation of the WCAFHT, Family Practice Health Centre, and Environmental Health and Family Practice in accordance with the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the WCAFHT and Women’s College Hospital. The Executive Director will ensure the WCAFHT and other programs are compliant with Hospital policies and procedures, and adhere to collective agreements, where appropriate. The Executive Director should have significant clinical experience and demonstrate an approachable leadership style adaptable to internal and external changes impacting the units. Leadership competencies in interpersonal communication, customer service, diversity management, conflict management, human resource management, and change management are essential.
