Corporate Recruiters Ltd. seeks a Director of Manufacturing and Operations for Electronics in Vancouver, BC.

You will own production and engineering end-to-end in a high-mix, low-volume, high-quality environment, turning demand into a reliable schedule. Lead scheduling, planning, and cross-functional teams; drive ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance and continuous improvement, with base compensation in the $145k-$180k CAD range.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing and operations, including 5+ years with direct accountability for production and delivery.
• Strong hardware or product engineering depth; able to evaluate technical claims directly.
• Experience in a busy, high-mix, low-volume, high-quality manufacturing environment.
• Operational leadership in scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Credibility with senior technical teams earned through competence.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100, ECOs, BOMs, and audit readiness.
• Preferred: Hardware, electronics, RF, microwave, or satellite communications experience; hands-on leadership in similarly scaled environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the full production schedule across all active orders.
• Build repeatable production processes and hold teams accountable to delivery dates.
• Partner with supply chain on lead times, constraints, and schedule conflicts.
• Resolve cross-functional technical issues and sign off on certification readiness.
• Translate growth targets into operational plans with clear metrics.
• Identify bottlenecks and risks early; build contingencies.
• Mentor engineering and production leads to strengthen capability and reduce single-point dependencies.
