Job summary

The City of Toronto is seeking an Executive Director, Development Review to provide strategic leadership for development review processes, advise the Mayor and Council, and drive housing and growth initiatives.

You will lead a ~500-person division, shape growth alignment with long-term city vision, build partnerships across government, industry and communities, and deliver high-performing results in a complex urban setting.

Qualifications

• Significant executive leadership experience in development, planning, housing or related field.
• Experience in a unionized environment and Professional Planner designation are assets.
• Strong political acumen, strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement.
