What You Need to Know:

Support regional mission capacity building by informing leadership of community needs, strengthening relationships, and communicating Red Cross programs and opportunities for involvement. Serve as the primary liaison to the community, working with volunteers and staff to fulfill the mission and be a member of the Region Leadership Team.

Collaborate with service lines to support volunteer engagement and recognition.

Where Your Career is a Force for Good:

  • Represent the Red Cross in the community to enhance its presence and recognition, managing strategic relationships with key contacts.
  • Develop and sustain community relationships to achieve regional goals in revenue, volunteer engagement, blood collection, and community involvement.
  • Manage and develop community volunteer leaders to support mission capacity and recruit volunteers.
  • Create an inclusive environment to effectively deliver the Red Cross mission.
  • Support disaster response efforts as part of the Elected Officials Liaison Network, when assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience, with demonstrated judgment, communication, influencing, and fundraising skills.
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred, with flexibility and change management skills.
