Job summary

Youngs Insurance Brokers Inc. is hiring an Executive Assistant (RIBO Licensed) located in our Welland office.

This full-time role oversees customer service and policy retention for an established portfolio, requiring a client-driven approach and a valid RIBO license to ensure accurate guidance and coverage options. You will collaborate with the Account Executive to identify client coverage needs, educate clients on policy details, and support on underwriting and bind processes to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced insurance environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a strong relationship with a focus on client experience.
• Complete new quotes and ensure the best product and pricing options are offered.
• Review renewal policies to ensure the best coverage and savings opportunities are identified.
• Explore, upsell, or cross-sell opportunities within the book of business.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of insurance products and educate clients on their policy coverages and insurance needs.
• Perform front-line underwriting to ensure risks follow company guidelines.
• Prepare policy documentation to bind and confirm coverage.
• Complete policy changes.
• Available for client walk-ins, calls, and emails.
• Work as part of the team to achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a strong relationship with a focus on client experience.

Licence/Certification

• RIBO License required (Registered Insurance Brokers Ontario)

Requirements

• Industry knowledge.
• Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and binding authority.
• Efficient computer skills withabilityto navigate multiple screens and system platforms.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a busy environment.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
