Executive Assistant

Exciting new opportunity to join a collaborative, fun and innovative team. Our Downtown Vancouver client in the engineering space is looking for a skilled, adaptable outgoing Executive Assistant & Marketing Coordinator to join its collaborative team. This is a great opportunity to join a globally respected firm with a long-standing history of innovation in the engineering and marine industry. This is the perfect role for a highly organized Admin Assistant who wants to get EA experience.

Key Responsibilities

This role offers a mix of responsibilities and the successful candidate will wear a variety of hats including travel, marketing and event coordination. You will work closely with both the Marketing Manager, Office Manager and senior leaders as part of a small dynamic team

  • Coordinate complex and often time-sensitive international travel arrangements
  • Provide day-to-day support for marketing initiatives, including trade show coordination, content creation and assistance, development of promotional media and communications
  • Offer administrative backup to front desk operations and general office support
  • Contribute to company culture by helping plan and organize internal staff events and social activities
  • Manage logistics for senior leadership team’s attendance at global trade shows and events

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in an administrative or marketing support role
  • Prior experience coordinating travel is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, design tools and social media platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of personalities and teams
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to exercise sound judgment
