As we continue to grow we are looking to add an Executive Assistant/ Personal Assistant to our President and CEO to the Scandi Family!
This will be a full time hybrid role based out of our Edmonton office hours will be Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm with flexibility needed in times of travel to update travel arrangements as required.

What your day to day will look like directly supporting our President and CEO:
- 30% Personal Support; booking reservations, running errands, scheduling personal appointments, organize holiday celebrations and birthdays. Track personal expense reimbursements.
- 70% Executive Administration Support; Proactively manage email, calendar, availability, and all business travel arrangements. Maintaining a list of items for follow up and required actions. Assist in setting and tracking of goals to prioritize competing needs and ensure strategic objectives and priorities are being met. Complete presentations, meeting agendas minutes, and expense reports. Compile and export data required from multiple platforms creating effective, simplified, and visually appealing reports and presentations to Executives and clients. Oversee preparations for board meetings coordinating logistics of board members and agenda.
- Travel Support; Our President and CEO travel extensively being in Edmonton only about 30% of the time. Plan all Executive business travel including flights, hotel, car rentals, and other reservations as required. Ensure availability during travel times to update arrangements as needed. m
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Must have minimum 10 years of progressive administrative experience including previous experience supporting a senior level Executive in a similar role.
- Completion of post secondary education in business administration or relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite is required with exceptional skills in presentation and business document creation.
- Ability to work well within a cross functional team environment and diverse communities.
- Excellent customer service, clear communication with outstanding interpersonal skills. The ability to pivot quickly and be results and solution oriented. Ability to be discreet showing tact and diplomacy handling confidential information.
- Maintain a reliable vehicle and have valid drivers license.
Our interview process:
- 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter.
- 20-40 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks).
- 45 minute in person interview with our President and CEO and our VP of Human Resources.
- Potential for a final more casual get to know you meet with our President and CEO as final step.
