About this opportunity

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high‑level administrative support and strategic guidance for our management and unit leadership teams. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the coordination of activities within various projects, acting as a trusted advisor and representative for your unit. In addition to overseeing authorization of orders and invoices, you will provide strategic insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. Upholding our Code of Business Ethics with rigor, you will address any concerns of bribery or corruption with diligence and integrity. This role offers a unique opportunity to elevate your administrative skills to a strategic level, driving organizational excellence and underpinning the core functions of the business with strategic acumen.

What you will do
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support and guidance, integrating strategic thinking into day‑to‑day activities, including calendar management and decision‑making processes.
  • Prioritize and manage inquiries and requests, proactively troubleshooting conflicts, and providing strategic recommendations to optimize engagements.
  • Nurture strong relationships with customers, coordinating communications, and ensuring exceptional service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Utilize exceptional organizational skills to oversee and support scheduling, call management, and decision‑making processes, aligning them with the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines, demonstrating foresight in anticipating needs and proactively addressing challenges to support objectives.
  • Manage travel arrangements and associated planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and optimizing executive time and resources.
  • Lead the preparation, execution, and follow‑up of staff meetings, all‑employee meetings, special events, training sessions, and workshops, contributing strategic insights and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Provide strategic support in the utilization of Ericsson’s current administrative tools and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement to administrative processes with a focus on streamlined operations to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate, network, and communicate effectively with other assistants within and outside the organization, fostering synergies and sharing best practices.
  • Drive improvement and implementation of administrative processes, leveraging your strategic acumen to streamline operations and enhance organizational effectiveness.
The skills you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, including at least 2 years of experience supporting the Executive Assistant level or performing Chief of Staff responsibilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with a demonstrated ability to leverage technology to enhance administrative processes.
  • Extensive experience in arranging complex schedules, managing time and logistics across multiple time zones, with a global perspective and understanding.
  • Self‑driven professionals with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, independently driving activities with minimal supervision while maintaining a strategic focus.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with a keen eye for structure and execution, driving results in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while dealing with diverse groups of stakeholders, including senior executives, staff, customers, and community leaders.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to excel in a large, international corporate environment, navigating complex organizational structures and driving collaboration across diverse teams and geographies.
  • Flexibility to communicate and complete tasks during non‑traditional working hours on a limited basis, demonstrating a commitment to supporting organizational goals and objectives.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: Ontario: $69,000 - $90,500. Short‑Term Variable Compensation Plan includes opportunity for an annual bonus based on performance and unit objectives.

Health: Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of 3 medical and dental plan options. Core level coverage is paid fully by Ericsson.

Financial Security: Group Retirement & Savings Program with automatic 2% company contribution to the Pension Plan; 50% match of employee contributions to the Registered Retirement Savings Plan up to 8% of the employee’s contribution (maximum 4% match). Basic life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment coverage at two‑times annual base pay, short‑term disability coverage, and option to participate in the Stock Purchase Plan.

Time Off: Minimum 18 days of accrued vacation, at least 3 personal days, 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, sick days, and up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
